Amaranth COVID-19 Update

To our cherished Amaranth community, we are approaching this current situation from a place of strength and of standing with our customers in support. We are walking alongside your health journey by continuing our commitment of quality, health, cleanliness and providing a positive experience.
Below are some updates that we invite you to take note of; the majority in response to items outlined by Alberta Health Services.
We have installed Plexi Glass up at our tills
We have closed our bulk bin station and we invite you to look for those products in repack
In store signage notes to please only touch or handle the produce you buy and wash your produce before consuming
For carts and baskets, we ask that you work with the team to leave them in an appropriate place so we can clean appropriately before returning to the rotation
We are doing our best to maintain a level of in store use wipes and hand sanitizer
We ask that you use card over cash and tap, when possible
In addition, to our regular Seniors Day on Tuesdays, we encourage customers to reserve our slower periods- often the first and last hour of the day- for seniors and the immunocompromised.
We are encouraging our staff to wear gloves for your comfortability, in addition to maintaining sufficient hand washing and sanitization. As of August 1, in accordance to the City of Calgary bylaw 26M2020, staff and customers are required to wear masks.
A note on occupancy: Each of our stores varies in size and it is our in store teams responsibility to monitor the amount of people in the store at a given time in order to support proper distancing. To avoid lines, we ask to think about coming at quieter periods of the day, often earlier morning or just before closing.
