Family owned and operated since 1988, St. Francis Herb Farm got it's name from a bird of prayer that sat upon co-founder Jeremy Rivett-Carnac's head, becoming a guardian symbol for the farm and an icon for the business. For centuries in Europe, monasteries built the foundation for Western understanding of herbs and their healing properties. Many monasteries tendered herb gardens, acting as town hubs and creating remedies that supported countless people and villages.
For second generation husband and wife duo, Paul and Caitlin, they carry on the same vision of St. Francis Herb Farm in utilizing the holistic healing properties of the Earth. For them, healing has to be a holistic approach, it has to be whole person. While a lot of what’s happened in Western medicine is treating the symptoms- herbalism true to Christianity and Catholicism is more whole and holistic- working with your bodies natural ability to heal.
