Advent Calendar Food Bank Drive
Amaranth is committed to giving back to our local communities, specifically to organizations that share our values. We have found that local food banks have a tremendous impact with little resources- something that we find alignment with. We also are uniquely situated to give back to these organizations as we are a food company! Often we can reduce our food waste and donate excess products- a true win-win. We also can broker deals with our suppliers to combine resources and donate items that are in high need.
This past December we launched our Reverse Advent Calendar as we counted down the days to Christmas. For 24 days we offered 24% off of the purchase of select items to be donated to the Food Bank. Our Amaranth community really came together and helped fill our boxes for donations. Thank you everyone who took part and made whatever contributions they could.
Fires in Australia
Due to extreme weather and severe drought, Australia has been enduring raging fires across the country for months now! Thousands of homes have been lost and even more wildlife due to the flames. It is in our core values to ensure we are actively making a positive impact not just in our local community, but also with our global neighbours. Every little bit helps, so here at Amaranth we are donating $500 to the fire rescue and $500 to the wildlife rescue.
