Purica: Immune Stress
The dreaded double bind, the seemingly no way out and no way to relief situation. Ever find yourself in one of these?
· It’s the sugar and dopamine loop: Low energy, leads to seeking easy dopamine, leads to temporary relief, leads to a crash. Repeat.
· It’s the ‘come closer, but stay away, but come closer’ relational dynamic (also a favourite move of cats by the way).
· It wants a full schedule and, when it is full, equally wants everything to just be quiet and calm, then wants it to be busy again. Repeat.
· And it’s the double bind relationship that far too many people find themselves in between stress and immunity. Where the more stressed you are, the lower your immunity and energy reserves become, and the lower your immunity and energy levels are, the more susceptible you are to stress, anxiety, and worry.
What we truly need is to get off the cycle and rest and restore. For that, may we suggest medicinal mushrooms meet a day at the spa?
Medicinal mushrooms act as immuno-modulators. Adjusting immunity levels within you to their optimal levels for overall health and well-being. Certain mushrooms like Reishi and Chaga can help us calm down, reduce stress, and clean up the residual effects of stress in the system, so even on a physiological level, we know it’s Ok to rest now. While other mushrooms like Cordyceps give us the boost of energy and vitality we need to feel confident in our ease. This alone can break the double bind we find ourselves in. Add in a day at the spa to rejuvenate our mind and body, and we say goodbye to that ’no way out’ situation.
All thanks to the wise use of our friends in nature.
(No guarantees it will help with any other double binds, but it will be easier to laugh about them from that clear and rejuvenated space!)
